Cancer Survivors on Mount Aspiring is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to organizing teams of cancer survivors to participate in a fund-raising climb on Mount Aspiring on the South Island of New Zealand December, 2007. All funds raised will provide tuition for children diagnosed with cancer to attend camps specifically designed for young people undergoing treatments for cancer.

These camps allow young cancer patients to leave hospital surroundings and get outside under the supervision of trained staff. The examples of people who have been diagnosed with cancer at some time in their past, participating in a mountaineering expedition is a positive one for others, young and old, facing cancer.
